About Julia

Julia is a dynamic, physically ambitious circus performer. She is imaginative and bold, while taking the road less travelled instead of the beaten path. Her years of dance and acrobatic training contribute to her high degree of technicality and creativity that astounds anyone who sees her perform.

Circus Arts allows Julia to create her own world, to express her own creative imagination and storytelling. Her graceful movements, unique combinations, physical strength and beautiful body lines all contribute to an awe-inspiring performance sure to please a crowd.

Julia has had the opportunity to perform as a soloist and with other artists in shows, fairs, corporate and private events. Demonstrating the art of aerial hoop, silks, contortion, and dance, Julia strives to create and share her passion with the circus community and let her artistry lead her to any destination.

Julia grew up in a small town just north of London, Ontario. From a young age, Julia had a sense of a free spirit, happy, outgoing, known to “light up the room” by many that spent time with her. With her confidence and early onset of musicality, Julia’s strive to perform shone through  by the wee age of 3. It was at this time her love of dancing was taken from the living room to the studio.

At the age of 10, Julia was introduced to the world of circus arts, and from that moment it felt like the perfect fit. With the combination of her acrobatic dance training, sense of adventure and athleticism, it became apparent that this would be a world she was going to be part of.

As a teenager Julia was honoured to be selected to attend The National Circus School in Montreal for two concurrent summer intensive training camps.

Julia began training at the Toronto School of Circus Arts in 2015. Initially enrolled as a student and then fortunate to become part of the coaching team. The school has offered many avenues for performances along with external coaching opportunities with Norwegian Cruise Line and Disney Cruise Line.
